These were my go to holiday present this year....there are so many different ideas for them...One of my favorites is the one with the birds which was for my aunt who has 15 grandchildren so there's a bird for each one and the top reads "Bubby feeds her birdies"

This one is a hard one to ship but great for a newborn or one year old

Personalized Letter Cases with Clipboard

My new favorite! I was having a hard time finding gifts for the 6-10 year old range. I think I hit the jackpot with the lettercase. You can customize it with the child's hobby, name , favorite team, etc.

This is an 18x12 magnet board with roof metal sheeting that I bought at Home Depot.  The letters are
Cricut Mickey Font and the animals are all from Cricut Animal Kingdom.  Half the animals, the name and tree are magnets and the rest are glued on.
I used different kinds of gel pens to give the animals some additional dimension.
definitely a labor of love!
PS the tree is Cricut Paper Dolls Dress Up

Baseball Player License Plate

For my nephew's bday!

Someone asked me to make them a gift card holder and the explosion box is the way to go!
As usual, I like my projects larger than usual so I used a 12x12 piece of paper  for the box part and a 8 1/8x 8 1/8 piece for the top of the box.
I left space for personal messages and the actual gift card gets attached to the middle box.

Directions for Flower Pail Card

Directions for the Flower Pail Card
I had some requests for directions for the flower pail card.  I like my cards larger than usual so for this card you will need a 12x12 double sided piece of paper and a 4.5 x 9 piece of paper.
Fold the paper in half to make a triangle....if it isn't perfect I just trim it with my trimmer.
with the long side of the triangle facing down, take the right lower corner and bring it to meet the middle of the left hand side of the triangle.  I found it easier to see where both sides would lay before I pressed down. Then repeat for the lower left corner and bring it up to meet the middle of the right side.  Once you are happy with the way it lays then open up the left lower corner and apply glue (I use my ATG).
Now you take the triangle on the top of the bucket, it should be two separate pieces and fold the first one down over your bucket
Glue down the triangle
I like to add some embellishments to the right hand side to hide that the triangle is not perfect.  For the card I used a 4.5x4.5 card (a 4.5x9 piece of paper)

Flower Bucket Cards

these are much easier to make than they look. I think they're so pretty and it's fun to be able to mix
and match colors.  All it really takes is one 12x12 of double sided paper, one patterned and one solid and then some folding.

Like most people with a cricut, I get asked to make lots of things for school....I'm in charge of making all the birthday cards for the teachers.  As there are so many I keep it simple and try to use a lot of my scraps.

these are a couple of years old but once you laminate them they can last a long time!

I always find myself running around trying to find hostess gifts right before the event.  These can be personalized in whatever color and design you choose.

Personalized Bulletin Board

I'm a big fan of magnet boards as newborn gifts and they're great to personalize. You can choose any color and make them very personal. The white shapes on the bottom are different magnets to be used to attach things to the board. This one is about 2.5 feet

My Seventh Year Anniversary

it's hard to come up with an anniversary card for my husband but I gave it my best shot!
